The moults of humanity, the passage of certain stages in society, for example, historical moments, scientific discoveries, technological advances. These moults represent positive evolutions, leading to wisdom and human peace.

But to what end? How far can humans learn from their mistakes? Are we really aware of known dangers? Are we really using new technologies to our advantage?

Mankind has existed for thousands of years, we've been trough several mutations since then, and we've evolved exponentially. But why do we continue to wage war, why do we repeat the same ethnic, religious and territorial quarrels? Why is it still possible for us to indulge in unlimited, harmful and destructive capitalist consumption?  Why are high technologies only profitable for certain classes of society, why are they not used for the benefit of world peace and equity?

Evolution and moulting can be positive or negative, it's all a question of perception.

 

One thing's for sure, all the positive aspects of these transformations deliver us to a modern society, but filled with collective pain, corrupted by all its negative aspects.
